  • Most reliable car ever

I put ALOT of miles on my cars. This Chevy Bolt has been the most reliable of all. To date with 79,000 miles on the odometer, I have had NO dealer visits at all other than a software upgrade which cost me nothing. Take into account no gas, no oil, no maintenance and this adds up to an amazing driving and pocketbook experience. While they are more expensive to buy at the beginning, the savings quickly add up. I would highly recommend you look at a bolt if you have a long commute and spend more that $2000 a year on fuel. It has a simple plastic interior but do not be fooled, there is a significant amount of tech and value built in, just not in the interior finishes. I would buy this car again without even thinking about it. Well done Chevy.
  • Amazing, thoughtfully designed and built

I have owned the Bolt for a year and a half, in Canada. The car NEVER has been indoors (garage) so has experienced the -40c and +40c temps of Canadian winters. For all the other 'obvious' advantages of an EV, the Bolt is just plain FUN to drive. It is warm in the winter, cool in the summer, snappy and handles my daily commute of 120km ( 74mi) easily with a charge every few days.
  • Best overall BEV on the market, bar none

I have had the Bolt for two years and drive it summer and winter, in town and the mountains, on the freeway and local roads. I do not normally gush over vehicles, but this is truly a game-changing automobile. It drives extremely well, is stylish to my (engineer) aesthetics, is well designed with practical features that include long-term battery management features nearly always overlooked in on-line reviews, is large enough for adults to be comfortable and have enough headroom for my tall frame (6 feet 4 inch) in front and rear, and achieves exceptional environmental and energy figures of merit. The interior control spaces are best in class in layout and functionality. Its quiet ride has been an unexpected joy. Its weaknesses include relatively cheap carpet/dash styling and a lack of cutting edge driving features (autonomous driving, dynamic cruise control). It also relies on your cell phone for navigation, which I consider a feature but others may not.
